Sock sneakers evolved out of a trend started by big athletic brands such as Nike and Adidas. Nike, for example, has started their foray into soft, mesh uppers in 1979, when they launched the Bermuda. It was the release of the Flyknit in 2012, though, that marked the beginning of the modern era of sneakers with knit uppers. Luxury brands have, since then, launched their own take on sock sneakers, with Balenciaga’s Speed Trainers taking the front seat. The shoe, basically, is an elastic ankle sock that is mounted to a sole. They set you back $595 to $695, depending on the version. People are reportedly scrambling to get their hands on it that it has consistently sold out in popular sizes on various stores and sites.

Great t-shirt. Great value
When asked why do I wear a black t-shirt 365 days a year I respond, “because they don’t make anything darker”. Needless to say I own a bunch of black t-shirts. This brand, for fit, durability, comfort, warmth, and value for your dollar, is as good as most any I own and I own a bunch of these. 100% satisfied

Good outside work T-shirt
Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”

Good basic t shirts
My boyfriend wears these every day as under shirts. These are the exact same that you can find at JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, or other craft stores. I will say, that he prefers the shirts that have no tag at the top, because his skin gets irritated by the tag. These shirts do have a tag.
